Notes From All Over

On September 10, SSP Director, Barry Posen welcomed Canadian Consul General to New England, Patrick Binns, at a reception to open the War of 1812 display in the foyer of E-40. The display, sponsored by the Government of Canada to commemorate the 200th anniversary of the War of 1812 was on display through the month of September.

Awards and Scholarships

Nathan Black, grad student, accepted a Postdoctoral Fellowship at the Harvard University Center for the Environment.

Eugene Gholz, alum, was awarded the office of the Secretary of Defense Medal for Exceptional Public Service.
